One of Tokyo’s most well-known metro stations was relocated on Friday to a brand-new platform, in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Shibuya station, famous for being the entryway into the hyper-crowded Shibuya Crossing, was moved about 425 feet away to a new station, according to Kyodo News. The Shibuya revamp boasts a modern M-shaped roof and has a waiting platform twice as long as the previous one. “The old station had challenges, including narrow entrance gates and platforms,” Tokyo Metro Co....

With their naturally socially distanced borders, the Caribbean islands have each been carefully rolling out their reopening plans to ensure that welcoming tourists doesn’t also mean allowing the coronavirus to enter their countries. The British Virgin Islands — a group of 60 islands east of Puerto Rico and west of Anguilla — is one of the latest, having reopened its borders to travelers on Dec. 1, albeit with strict restrictions in place, including multiple tests and a full four-day quarantine....

Several Broadway shows will drop vaccine requirements for theatergoers in May even as the mask mandate has been extended, The Broadway League announced, updating a policy that had been in place for months. “While masking mandates will remain in place at all Broadway theatres through at least May 31, many theatres may no longer require that audience members provide proof of vaccination,” the League said in a statement. “Please consult the show website or point of purchase for information about proof of vaccination requirements for your show....
