Berlin-based Danish design firm Sigurd Larsen has designed some absolutely swoon-worthy tree cabins on the Danish peninsula of Als Odde for Løvtag, a treetop hotel. It’s not just beautiful, it’s also a wonderful place for environmentally conscious travelers looking for luxury. Each of the nine studio-style cabins is built around an existing, living tree, between 20 and 26 feet off the ground, according to Dezeen. Airlines are issuing flight waivers ahead of a “bomb cyclone” expected to slam the east coast over the weekend with parts of the country possibly seeing up to a foot of snow. Several airlines have issued flight waivers as a result of the severe winter weather, including Delta Air Lines, which issued a travel waiver for the New York City metro area and Boston. America’s oldest, and active, park ranger is celebrating her 100th birthday today and the National Park Service is reflecting on the incredible impact she’s had. Carnival Cruise Line debuted a new ship while MSC Cruises set sail from the state for the first time in over a year, marking the latest signs of recovery in an industry that was halted due to the pandemic. Delta Air Lines will begin installing hand sanitizer stations on board their planes, in their latest effort to considers new ways to combat the spread of coronavirus. The airline will begin the installation on Friday, a process likely to be completed within the coming weeks, Delta announced on Wednesday. As the first U.S. airline to install such a feature, passengers will find easily accessible stations with Purell hand sanitizer near the airplane’s boarding door and outside the bathroom door....
