The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has raised Canada to its highest travel warning, telling Americans to “avoid” traveling there. The agency, which updates its list on a weekly basis, raised Canada to a “Level 4,” indicating a “very high” level of COVID-19 transmission in the country. “Because of the current situation in Canada, even fully vaccinated travelers may be at risk for getting and spreading COVID-19 variants,” the CDC wrote in its advisory....

America’s top national parks are expecting another busy summer in 2022, and visitors wanting to head outdoors will need to plan accordingly. Glacier National Park in Montana plans to require timed tickets again this summer to experience its famous Going-to-the-Sun Road, a 50-mile stretch of road that crosses the Continental Divide in the Rocky Mountains. Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park is making it easier — and faster — to visit by rolling out a digital entry pass travelers can purchase in advance. Qantas is looking to resume international flights by Oct. 31 — including to the U.S — four months later than the airline originally planned. Sweden will drop all COVID-19-related travel protocols next month, making it the latest destination to roll back pandemic-era rules. Starting April 1, Sweden will welcome travelers from all over the world without the need to show proof of vaccination or get tested before arrival, according to the government. The decision comes after Sweden declared the virus is “no longer [to] be classified as a threat to public health and a danger to society” due to vaccinations and other measures....
