In an effort to prevent house parties, Airbnb will stop renting entire homes to some guests in the U.S. under 25 years old, the company shared with Travel + Leisure. Guests who are 24 and younger with less than three positive reviews or a negative review won’t be able to book a whole house close to where they live, Airbnb recently announced. Younger guests, however, can still book entire homes outside their area as well as any private room or hotel room through Airbnb....

Both American and United Airlines lost employees this week due to complications from the coronavirus. American Airlines flight attendants received the news of the death of their colleague — Paul Frishkorn — on Thursday evening in a joint letter from the airline’s senior VP of flight service and presidents of the Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA). The 65-year-old Philadelphia-based flight attendant had worked with American Airlines since 1997. He had been twice honored as one of the airline’s Flight Service Champions for excellent customer service....

Carnival Cruise Line has extended its cancellation on future trips to September 30. The cruise line announced Monday that it was extending its suspension of services, that was originally scheduled to end on August 1, due to the coronavirus. “During this unprecedented pause in our business, we have continued to assess the operating environment and confer with public health, government and industry officials,” Carnival Cruise Line President, Christine Duffy, said in a press release....

Starting Aug. 1, travelers will be able to visit Hawaii without having to quarantine if they test negative for COVID-19 prior to arrival, the governor announced on Wednesday. In a press conference, Gov. David Ige confirmed that visitors must be tested ahead of their flight to Hawaii as tests will not be conducted at any of its airports. Anyone who arrives in Hawaii without the results of a negative test will have to undergo a 14-day quarantine....

Hawaiian Airlines is encouraging people to travel responsibly in Hawaii in a new video the carrier will play before landing in the island paradise. The video, which runs for five minutes, asks visitors to “Travel Pono,” or “explore with care” as they land on one of the state’s islands, the airline shared with Travel + Leisure. The message is woven in with gorgeous views of the mountains, deep blue water, and amazing wildlife that make Hawaii such a unique and special destination....

New York City is planning a blockbuster “Homecoming” concert in August to celebrate its return to normalcy after a lengthy shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The concert, said to be part of a week-long celebration, is expected to feature multiple major headlining artists, although the line-up has yet to be confirmed. “This concert is going to be a once in a lifetime opportunity,” New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio told The New York Times....
