Rumor has it Disneyland’s super-exclusive Club 33 will be coming to Walt Disney World. Word spread across the Disney community today that not one but four versions of the pricey private haunt are debuting at the Orlando resort this fall, with one likely located in each of Disney’s four Orlando theme parks. The private, members-only restaurant and lounge bar opened at Disneyland Park in 1967, and has long been known as an insider’s hangout and celebrity hot-spot for Los Angelenos visiting Disneyland....

Disneyland in California, which has been closed since mid-March due to the pandemic, is unlikely to reopen before the end of the year. In an earnings call last week, senior executive vice president and chief financial officer, Christine McCarthy, said the park expects to remain closed until at least Dec. 31, citing current state regulations in California, Variety reported. The European Union this week proposed its 27 nations to reopen borders for non-essential travel in the latest step to welcome tourists back to its popular vacation destinations. The Commission cited the progress of vaccination campaigns as well as the improving epidemiological situation around the world on Monday as reasons for its latest recommendation. To facilitate a season of tourism, the Commission proposed member countries lift restrictions for fully vaccinated travelers who have received a shot approved in the EU, which include vaccines from Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson....

A famous arch in the Galapagos collapsed this week likely because of natural erosion, Ecuador’s Ministry of the Environment and Water announced. The collapse of the top of the arch, known as the Darwin Arch, was reported on Monday, the ministry tweeted.
