Delta Air Lines is bringing holiday cheer to the skies with a new collection of Hallmark holiday movies, the company shared with Travel + Leisure this week. The airline is partnering with Hallmark Channel to bring six of the channel’s signature holiday movies to its Delta Studio. The movies will be available throughout the month of December. “We want customers to be excited for what they will discover each time they fly on Delta, and part of that is providing entertainment that is fresh and exciting for the full family,” Ekrem Dimbiloglu, Delta’s managing director of in-flight entertainment, told T+L....

After an uptick in COVID-19 cases, Puerto Rico delayed its official tourism reopening. “Puerto Rico is encouraging only essential travel at this time and has postponed its official inbound tourism reopening in order to safeguard visitors and residents,” the island’s tourism site, Discover Puerto Rico announced Friday. Royal Caribbean International announced it would extend its suspension of cruises across its global fleet until September 15. Royal Caribbean aims to resume cruises on Sept. 16, 2020, but with some exceptions, according to the cruise line’s website. All cruises from Canada will be suspended through Oct. 31, 2020, due to a ban on cruise ship travel from the Canadian government. Bermuda sailings will also remain suspended through the end of October....

There’s no time like now to plan your winter escapes to Hawaii, and Southwest Airlines just slashed 40% off the price of winter flights to the island paradise in preparation.
