Looking for love in all the wrong places? You may want to try seeking that someone special at 30,000 feet. EVA Airways, one of the largest airlines in Taiwan, is launching a new flight to nowhere program with loved-up passengers in mind. According to CNN, the airline is partnering with Mobius, a travel experience company, on a new program, “Fly! Love is in the Air.” The flights, the airline explained, are explicitly for singles looking for their perfect match and will take off on Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day....

California’s Oakland Zoo has vaccinated some of its larger animals against COVID-19, using a new experimental vaccine specifically formulated for animals. The first animals at the zoo to receive their vaccinations were two tigers named Ginger and Molly. The tigers were chosen because large cats are particularly susceptible to contracting the virus. So far, the Oakland Zoo has vaccinated tigers, grizzly bears, black bears, mountain lions, and ferrets against the disease....

You might be over Zoom calls, but at the zoo, virtual animal meetings are still all the rage. According to USA Today, the Safari Park Zoo located in Dvur Kralove, Czech Republic, has installed a big screen in its chimpanzee enclosure to allow the animals to watch what their chimp friends are doing on the other side of the country at a zoo in Brno. The program, which launched on Thursday, is all in an effort to enrich the lives of the animals as the park remains closed due to the pandemic....

Though masks are mandatory throughout airports and on airlines, Delta is a bit stricter with their mask rule, requiring that passengers wear a specific type of face-coverings. The airline’s policy reads, “Any mask with an exhaust valve is not approved as an acceptable face mask for customers traveling on any Delta operated flight.” But, the CDC’s face covering recommendation is not meant to protect wearers from particles coming in, instead, the mask functions to protect those near the wearer from breathing in any potentially harmful particles....

But starting Wednesday, LAX is introducing a new pilot program to help ease concerns over the cleanliness of its bathrooms.
