A pair of tourists were arrested in Hawaii over the weekend after allegedly lying about their vaccination status, according to the state’s governor, David Ige. The two visitors, who were from the mainland, were arrested at Honolulu’s airport, Ige tweeted, after they apparently falsified vaccination cards to travel to the Aloha state. Domestic travelers to Hawaii are required to either show proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test from a “trusted partner” site in order to skip quarantine....

Travelers are pouring back into airports across the United States as the TSA reported a record number of passengers over Memorial Day Weekend. According to the agency’s through-put statistics, the TSA screened more than 7.1 million people from Thursday to Monday — its highest traffic numbers since March 2020. Virgin Hotels, the lifestyle hotel brand By Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson, announced its plans to open a new hotel in Glasgow, Scotland in 2022.
