The Department of Homeland Security said it will no longer accept applications from New Yorkers to programs like Global Entry, citing the state’s law that allows undocumented immigrants to apply for a driver’s license, according a letter from DHS. On Wednesday, Chad Wolf, the acting secretary of homeland security, sent a letter stating that New Yorkers would no longer be able to apply for programs like Global Entry, which make getting through customs a much faster and streamlined process, because of the “Green Light Law....

Switzerland has officially joined the ranks of European countries welcoming Americans back this summer. As of June 28, the country has reopened to vaccinated U.S. travelers. The country, known for its breathtaking Alps, gorgeous national parks, and world-renowned chocolate, has opened its borders to American and Canadian tourists who have received a complete course of an approved vaccine against COVID-19, the Swiss tourism site noted. These travelers will not be required to quarantine or undergo pre-arrival testing....
