On March 9, those otherworldly landscapes returned to the big screen in director Ava DuVernay’s adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s sci-fi tale A Wrinkle in Time. DuVernay searched for a stand-in for an idyllic planet, and found it in the region of Lake Wanaka — specifically, in the mountains surrounding Lake Hawea, which runs parallel to Wanaka, and at Hunter Valley Station, a 27,000-acre ranch on Hawea’s western shore....

Italy introduced a questionnaire visitors can use to determine if and how they can enter the country in an effort to simplify navigating travel restrictions, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The interactive questionnaire tells visitors if they need a reason to come as well as what restrictions or pre-arrival testing would be required. The survey asks potential visitors questions like which country they plan on entering Italy from, where they have been for the previous 14 days before their trip if they are an EU citizen or from a Schengen Country, and if they are a legal resident in Italy....

Star Wars fans eager for the new themed lands at Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California can get a sneak peek at the projects in a new video. Disney announced progress on the lands, which are set to open in 2019, on the company blog. “These two new immersive lands will transport guests to a never-before-seen planet, a remote trading port and one of the last stops before wild space where Star Wars characters and their stories come to life and where guests will find themselves in the middle of the action,” wrote George Savvas, public relations director at Disneyland Resort....
